haiti_0046 June 2, 2010 will be a day that the staff and volunteers of the local non-profit, ServeHaiti, will never forget. It is the day they received truckloads of medical supplies from their new-found friends in DeKalb County. Now it looks like we won’t have to purchase supplies like we’d planned to take with us!”

What does that mean, though? Where does reading actually take you? The phrase may mean different things to different people, but there is a group of DeKalb County students proving that reading can truly take you places you’ve never been. According to DeKalb County student Daniel Bynum, reading can even make you money.
